49 days??? Holy guacamole!!! I apologize profusely to the 3 people who might have noticed that it's been 49 days since I last updated. My life is profoundly boring. No, that's not true ... stuff happens, and I'm never bored, but nothing happens that really warrants me writing about them. No, that's not true either. Hmm ... I'm lazy. Yes, that's it. Anyhoo, a long, long time ago, I was "tagged" by Pummela. (many thanks) So here I go! Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 quirky habits and/or rituals as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names. 1. I can't stand touching itchy fabric. If I'm trying on a piece of clothing that has even the tiniest itchy factor, I will almost literally rip it off of my body the second it comes in contact with my flesh. 2. I put ketchup on my baked potatoes. Honestly, though, they're just like one big healthier french fry, so I don't see whey people give me weird looks when I do this. 3. I hate shoes, but I like looking at them in stores. I wander all over the shoe department, gazing at sparkly pumps or petting furry boots, but I wear sneakers or ugly-ass sandals 365 days of the year. I do, however, like socks. Apparantly everyone knows this, because I got 16 pairs of socks for Christmas. 4. I overuse words and phrases so much that anyone who talks to me would think I have the vocabulary of an elementary school student. I can communicate a wide range of emotions/reactions with the words "sweet," "awesome," "yeah, buddy," and "mmm-hmm." I really and truly do know lots of big wors, though. Fustian! Vociferous! Soporific! Sweet. 5. I can't read for an extended period of time (like, 10 minutes) without falling asleep. This is an awesome quality for someone in my field. Yeah, buddy! So now I tag Amy and Rapidal! Huzzah! Let's see, what else is going on? OH MAN, I definitely have to share this essay from one of my ... brighter ... students. But that will have to wait for another entry, because I totally need to shower. Ok, that's that. I'll see you in 49 days! |
