huzzah!

so i think maybe when i have my third wedding, i'll be allowed to plan that one. first it's the mother, now it's the mother-in-law. on the plus side, my mom has become amazingly sane over the past three months. who knew all i'd have to do was get divorced, get engaged again, and have a crazy mother-in-law. don't worry, folks, she still likes getting in jabs like this one:

MOM: Dave is such a nice guy.
ME: I know. He's so genuine, so sweet ... he's just the best guy I've ever met.
MOM: Well, you can trust my opinion, but don't trust yourself. You know what happened last time.
