grading crap. head full of goo. I accidentally locked myself out of my house while walking the dog in the pouring rain today. Had to sit on my neighbor's porch for 2.5 hours until Dave could come and rescue my half-drowned ass. I went to see Jimmy Eat World in DC with Ryan and Brett this weekend. It's easy to be friends with Ryan now that I don't have to feel like I'm responsible for him not being a mean bastard sometimes. I definitely wish he were just my catty gay BFF instead of my catty gay ex husband, but only because it would make it easier for everyone else in my life to accept that we're such good friends, not because anything is weird for me. It was a rough couple of months (years, i guess, if you include most of the being married/living together), but we're really ok now. He's still with the Douchebag BoyToy, but that's his problem. I'll never like him. Douchebag. Still working on the driving. Some days are better than others. Today was pretty good, but a few weeks ago I had a bad time getting to the supermarket. I went by myself and cut some dude off and he honked at me and I started freaking out and disassociating and whatnot ... somehow I made it to the parking lot, but I had to walk around the store for over an hour before I was calm enough to get back in the car and drive home. Good thing I like supermarkets. Ok, back to grading and trying to blow the goo out of my sinuses. Whee! |
